Somerset Walking & Activity Group (SWAG)
We are a group established by the Ramblers for young people in the Somerset area. We organise walks in most parts of the county including the Quantock hills, Exmoor, Blackdown hills and Somerset levels meaning it is ideal for people living in Taunton, Yeovil or Bridgwater. Most of our members are in their 20s, 30s and into their 40s. We are a very active group of around 70 members, with walks, social activities or weekends away every week throughout the year.
Walks are usually held on Sundays. We try to cater for all levels of ability by providing walks of varying distances across different terrains from gentle lowland walks to tough hill and mountain walks.
